The Nadwat al-Mubāhathāt is Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah's annual academic forum, bringing together selected student research from across its four campuses for scholarly discussion under the guidance of faculty and senior academics.
This year, Shahzada Dr Ja'far us Sadiq Bhaisaheb Imaduddin honoured the Nairobi and Karachi campuses with his presence for their annual Nadwat al-Mubāhathāt. In Nairobi, the panels explored the theological dimensions of worship and its role in the life of a Muslim, the Fatimi understanding of virtue ethics and the formation of moral character, and the challenges facing multi-generational family businesses, exploring how family values can provide a foundation for enduring business success and generational continuity.
In Karachi, the panels explored the soul's purification through knowledge, action, good habits, and sound belief; the role of rusumat in fostering unity and mutual respect within Dawoodi Bohra marriage traditions; and the balance between pursuing education and career while remaining connected to one's family and values, emphasising that true detachment should be from vice and wrongdoing.
